Antalya Airport to Konyaaltı: Transfer, Bus and Taxi

Updated 22 October 2026

Short answer: Konyaaltı is about 20 km from Antalya Airport (AYT) by road, and the drive across the city usually takes 30 to 40 minutes. A private transfer costs from €35 per vehicle (Mercedes Vito, up to 6 passengers), shown before you pay. A taxi on the meter costs about €20–22 (₺1,100–1,200). The cheapest ways are the Havaş coach (≈€4 / ₺230 per person, about 45 minutes, runs for every domestic arrival) and city bus 400 from Terminal 2 (about 45 to 55 minutes, roughly every 90 minutes). The airport tram line ends in the city, so for the beach the public options are Havaş and bus 400, and both take longer than a car.

Konyaaltı is on the opposite side of Antalya from the airport. The airport lies east of the city, the long Konyaaltı beach sits to the west, and the whole urban area is in between, so this is a cross-city ride rather than the short hop to Lara. That is why the usual question is not whether there is a bus (there are two), but whether the extra time is worth the saving once you have suitcases. This guide compares the private transfer, the taxi, the Havaş coach and bus 400, then covers late arrivals, what to see near the beach and what has changed in 2026.

Where Konyaaltı Is and How Far It Is

Konyaaltı is both a district and a beach. The beach is a long stretch of fine pebbles with some sand, backed by a beach park, cafés and cycle paths. Hotels face the sea along the front, while apartment blocks and residential complexes with their own pools fill neighbourhoods such as Liman, Hurma and Sarısu behind it. Antalya Aquarium is at the Arapsuyu end, and the Port Akdeniz cruise terminal is at the western end of the beach.

By road the airport is about 20 km from the Konyaaltı hotel strip, and our other guides give 22 to 24 km for the far side of the district. Allow 30 to 40 minutes in normal traffic. Mid-morning and the late afternoon are slower, the small hours are quick, and in summer the roads around the airport fill up when many charter flights land together. Konyaaltı is a different place from Lara, so if your voucher says Lara or Kundu, read Antalya Airport to Lara and Kundu instead, and for the old town see Antalya Airport to the city centre.

If your address is in a residential complex, send the complex name and the block number as well as the street. Several blocks often sit behind one gate in Liman, Hurma and Sarısu, and near the cruise terminal a street name or landmark helps the driver.

Taxi From Antalya Airport to Konyaaltı

There is a taxi rank directly in front of the arrivals exit of each terminal, and taxis run around the clock. Konyaaltı and the airport both fall under Antalya's central tariff, so the meter starts at ≈€0.70 (₺40) and adds ≈€0.90 (₺50) for every kilometre, with no night rate. For the trip to Konyaaltı that comes to about €20–22 (₺1,100–1,200), depending on how far along the beach your address is and on traffic. These are meter estimates for the whole car, not a published fare list.

For one to four people the meter is often cheaper than a transfer. Details on the tariff, card payment and complaints are in our Antalya Airport taxi prices guide.

Private Transfer to Konyaaltı

Your driver tracks your flight and waits just outside the arrivals exit. Once you have landed, the driver sends the exact meeting point and a short video on WhatsApp, so you do not have to search for the car. Drivers speak English and help with the bags, and the car stops at the entrance of your hotel or building. Most international flights use Terminal 2 and the domestic terminal is a separate building, so give us the flight number you booked and we follow it.

You pay per vehicle, not per person. A Mercedes Vito takes up to 6 passengers with luggage, a VIP Mercedes V-Class is available, and a Sprinter takes larger groups. Child seats are available on request, so mention them when you book. The price starts from €35 per vehicle; see the Antalya Airport to Konyaaltı transfer page, and compare other destinations on the transfer prices page. The exact price for your date and pickup time is shown before you pay, there is no extra charge for traffic or flight delays, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pickup.

With three or more people, or with large suitcases, one vehicle is usually simpler than two taxis or a coach plus a taxi from the stop. It is also the one option that does not depend on a timetable, which matters after a delayed flight.

Havaş Coach to Konyaaltı

Havaş runs the only airport coach in Antalya, and it goes to Konyaaltı (Migros shopping centre) via the bus station. It costs ≈€4 (₺230) per person and takes about 45 minutes, traffic permitting.

The coach ends at Migros, so unless your hotel is next to it you finish with a short walk or a taxi. For two people that already brings the cost close to the taxi, and for a group of four to six the coach fares add up to more than one transfer. Full details are in our Antalya Airport bus and tram guide.

City Bus 400 to the Beach Road

Bus 400 starts at Terminal 2 and runs via Akdeniz University and the Lunapark and Migros stop, then along the Konyaaltı beach road (Atatürk Bulvarı) to Sarısu. Allow 45 to 55 minutes to the beach road, and about 70 minutes end to end. From Terminal 2 it leaves at 07:40, 09:10, 10:40, 12:15, 13:45, 15:15, 16:55, 18:25, 19:55, 21:15, 22:45, 00:15 and 01:25. The timetable is the same every day, and times after midnight belong to the night of the day before.

The tram T1A, the airport's tram line, runs into the city and ends at Fatih, so for Konyaaltı the two public options from the airport are Havaş and bus 400.

Landing Late at Night

The last tram leaves the airport at 00:05 and the last daytime buses go before midnight, but two services keep going. Bus 400 leaves Terminal 2 at 00:15 and 01:25 for Konyaaltı and Sarısu, and Havaş runs a coach for every domestic arrival. Taxis wait outside every terminal all night, with no night rate. If you land late on an international flight, a taxi or a pre-booked transfer is simpler than getting yourself to the domestic terminal for the coach. See also arriving in Antalya at night.

Back to the Airport

Allow roughly the same 30 to 40 minutes by car, and add margin for the morning rush. Our guide to getting to Antalya Airport suggests how early to leave for each area.

For an early flight, the only public options before 06:00 are the three Havaş departures. Bus 400 starts from Sarısu at 06:00.
