How to Get from Antalya Airport to Lara and Kundu

Updated 19 October 2026

Short answer: Lara is 13–15 km from Antalya Airport (AYT), about 15–20 minutes by car, and the Kundu resorts are 15–21 km, about 20–25 minutes. There is no public bus from the terminals to the Lara hotel road or to Kundu, and bus 800 is not a Lara hotel bus. The two bus routes that work need a change: 800 to Düden Parkı and then LC07A or KL08, or 800 to Kardeş Kentler Caddesi and then 511 to Kundu. A metered taxi costs ≈€13–14 (₺700–800) to Lara. A private transfer to Lara starts at €35 per vehicle (Mercedes Vito, up to 6 passengers); for Kundu the exact price for your hotel is shown before you pay.

"Lara" on a hotel voucher can mean three different places along one coast road, and two of them are not in Lara at all. Most of the big all-inclusive resorts people book as "Lara" stand in Aksu, a separate district, around Kemerağzı and Kundu, several kilometres further east than the public beach. That changes the taxi fare, the drive time and the bus you would need. This guide sorts out where your hotel really is, then covers the taxi, the private transfer and the buses that actually work, with timetables checked on 19 October 2026.

Lara or Kundu? Where your hotel really is

All three areas sit along one road, signposted as Lara Caddesi and then Yaşar Sobutay Bulvarı, running east from the airport side of Antalya. Distances are by road from the airport terminals, with clear-road driving times; add time in summer and at rush hour.

Taxi from Antalya Airport to Lara and Kundu

There is a taxi rank directly in front of the arrivals exit of each terminal, and taxis run around the clock. Lara, Kundu and the airport are all in the central tariff zone (Muratpaşa, Kepez, Konyaaltı, Döşemealtı and Aksu), so the meter runs at ≈€0.70 (₺40) to start plus ≈€0.90 (₺50) per km, with a minimum fare of ≈€3.50 (₺200) and no night rate. As a rule of thumb the fare is the start fee plus ≈€0.90 (₺50) for every kilometre in the table above. There are no tolls on this route.

For one to four people the meter to Lara is usually cheaper than a transfer. Details on the tariff, card payment and complaints are in our Antalya Airport taxi prices guide.

Private transfer to Lara and Kundu

Your driver tracks your flight and waits just outside the arrivals exit. Once you have landed, the driver sends the exact meeting point and a short video on WhatsApp, so you do not have to search for the car. Drivers speak English. You pay per vehicle, not per person: a Mercedes Vito seats up to 6 passengers with luggage, a VIP Mercedes V-Class is available, and a Sprinter takes larger groups. Child seats are available on request, so mention them when you book. There is no extra charge for traffic or flight delays, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before pickup.

The price to Lara starts at €35 per vehicle; see the Antalya Airport to Lara transfer page. For Kundu, the exact price for your hotel, date and pickup time is shown before you pay. If you cannot find your hotel in the booking search, ask our 24/7 line on +90 544 102 1414. Compare all destinations on the transfer prices page.

Give the driver the hotel name and its area (Güzeloba, Kemerağzı or Kundu) as it appears on your voucher. If you rent an apartment near Fener rather than a resort, send the street and building name, because "Lara" alone covers a large area.

By bus: why there is no direct service

Only four city lines call at the airport stops: 400, 600, 600G and 800. The 400 goes to Konyaaltı, the 600 and 600G go to the Otogar (bus station), and the 800 runs through Güzeloba and Düden Park to Meydan. None of them runs along Lara Caddesi or Yaşar Sobutay Bulvarı, the hotel road. You may see "bus 600 to Lara" or "bus 800 to the Lara hotels" elsewhere online; both are wrong. The tram does not come this way and Havaş runs only to Konyaaltı.

What works is one change. In both routes you board the 800 at Terminal 2 or the "Dış Hatlar Terminal Girişi" stop on the access road to Terminal 1 (see our Antalya Airport bus guide for where each line stops). Pay with an Antalyakart or a contactless bank card; there is no cash on the buses.

Route A: bus 800, then LC07A or KL08 (Lara and Kundu)

  1. Take bus 800 from the airport to Düden Parkı, about 29 minutes. The 800 stops at Düden Parkı-2; the eastbound stop, Düden Parkı-1, is across the road.
  2. Change to LC07A (Otogar–Kundu), which runs east along Lara Caddesi and Yaşar Sobutay Bulvarı. From Düden Parkı-1 it reaches Lara Cd-7 after about 6 minutes, Yaşar Sobutay Bulvarı-1 after 8, Bulvarı-10 after 19, Kundu Bazaar after 29 and the Kundu-1 stop after 35.
  3. For the western Lara hotels you can use KL08 instead, about every 10–14 minutes from 06:00 to 23:30. It runs along Lara Caddesi and Yaşar Sobutay Bulvarı-1 to 9, then turns back towards Güzeloba, so it does not go as far as Kundu.

LC07A runs from about 05:30 to 00:00 from the Otogar, roughly every 15–20 minutes in the daytime (66 trips on weekdays and Saturdays, 44 on Sundays).

Route B: bus 800, then 511 (Kemerağzı and Kundu)

  1. Take bus 800 and get off at a Kardeş Kentler Caddesi stop. The 800 calls at stops numbered Kardeş Kentler Cd-1 to Cd-13, and the 511 uses the same stops. Cd-13 is reached about 16 minutes after leaving Terminal 2.
  2. Change to 511 (Otogar–Kundu). From the Kardeş Kentler stop it reaches Yaşar Sobutay Bulvarı-5 after about 4 minutes, Bulvarı-10 after 9, Kundu Bazaar after 17, and the Kundu-4 and Kundu-10 stops after 24 and 30 minutes.

The catch is the 511's frequency: only 26 trips from the Otogar Monday to Saturday and 19 on Sunday, between 06:00 and 23:30, so the wait can be 30 to 55 minutes.

Bus 800 departures from Terminal 2 (checked 19 October 2026)

06:45 · 08:35 · 09:25 · 10:15 · 11:05 · 11:55 · 12:45 · 13:35 · 14:35 · 15:35 · 16:35 · 17:35 · 18:20 · 19:15 · 20:00 · 20:45 · 21:45 · 22:45 · 23:45. The timetable is the same every day, 19 trips. Kardeş Kentler Cd-1 is reached about 2 minutes after leaving, Düden Parkı after 29, TerraCity after 38 and Meydan after 60 minutes.

Be realistic. Including the wait for the second bus, expect 50 to 90 minutes, and you carry your bags across a road and onto a second crowded bus. That is workable for one traveller with a rucksack and unsuitable with suitcases, children or a late flight. Going via the Otogar and LC07A also works, but LC07A takes about 1 hour 40 minutes from the Otogar to Kundu Bazaar, so it is far slower. Fares on the 800, LC07A, 511 and KL08 are not published separately in the sources we checked, so watch the amount on the reader; our Antalyakart guide explains the card.

Landing late at night

The last tram leaves the airport at 00:05 and runs to the city centre, not to Lara. The last 800 leaves Terminal 2 at 23:45, KL08 runs until 23:30 and LC07A's last eastbound trips leave the Otogar around midnight, so a late landing leaves no safe bus connection. The night buses go elsewhere: the 600G (01:05, 03:05, 05:05) to the Otogar and the 400 (00:15 and 01:25) to Konyaaltı. After a late landing, use a taxi from the rank or a pre-booked transfer; the driver follows your flight, and there is no extra charge if it is delayed. See also arriving in Antalya at night.

Back to the airport

A taxi from Lara or Kundu to the airport should run on the same central tariff as the trip in, but practice varies, so ask your hotel or the driver for an estimate first. You can book a private return together with your arrival; see the Lara to Antalya Airport transfer page, where the exact price for your date and pickup time is shown before you pay.

By bus the reverse of Route B works: the 511 leaves Kundu-10 between 06:35 and 23:05 for the Kardeş Kentler Caddesi stops (28 to 34 minutes), where you change to the 800 for the airport.

Frequently asked questions

How far is Lara from Antalya Airport?

Güzeloba, where the public Lara beach is, is 12–15 km by road, about 15–20 minutes in clear traffic. The big resorts around Kemerağzı are 14–17 km and the east end of Kundu is 18–21 km, up to about 25 minutes. Allow more in summer and at rush hour.

How much is a taxi from Antalya Airport to Lara and Kundu?

On the meter, about €13–14 (₺700–800) to Lara, ≈€14–16 (₺800–900) to the Kemerağzı resorts and ≈€17–20 (₺950–1,100) to the east end of Kundu. These are estimates from the central tariff (start ≈€0.70 / ₺40, ≈€0.90 / ₺50 per km, no night rate), not a published fare list.

Does bus 800 go to Lara?

Not to the Lara hotels. Bus 800 runs through Güzeloba, Düden Park and TerraCity to Meydan, but never along Lara Caddesi or Yaşar Sobutay Bulvarı, the hotel road. From Düden Parkı (about 29 minutes from Terminal 2) you change to bus LC07A or KL08 for the hotels.

How do I get from Antalya Airport to Kundu by bus?

There is no direct bus. Take bus 800 to a Kardeş Kentler Caddesi stop and change to bus 511, which reaches Kundu Bazaar about 17 minutes later, or take the 800 to Düden Parkı and change to LC07A (Kundu Bazaar about 29 minutes later). Allow 50 to 90 minutes including the wait, which is hard with suitcases.

Is Kundu the same as Lara?

No. Lara (Güzeloba) is in the Muratpaşa district, while Kemerağzı and Kundu are in Aksu district, further east along the same coast road. Many hotels sold as Lara stand in Kemerağzı or Kundu, so give your driver the hotel name and area.

How much is a private transfer from Antalya Airport to Lara?

From €35 per vehicle (Mercedes Vito, up to 6 passengers), not per person. For Kundu, the exact price for your hotel, date and pickup time is shown before you pay. There is no extra charge for traffic or flight delays, and free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup.

Is Lower Düden Waterfall close to the airport?

Yes. Düden Park is 13–14 km and about 14 minutes by car from the airport, and bus 800 stops at Düden Parkı 29 minutes after leaving Terminal 2. Upper Düden is a different place, inland in the Kepez area.

What if my flight lands late at night?

Taxis wait at each terminal around the clock, and a pre-booked driver tracks your flight and meets you just outside the arrivals exit. The last bus 800 leaves Terminal 2 at 23:45 and no bus runs along the hotel road after about midnight, so late arrivals should plan on a taxi or transfer.
