Antalyakart for Visitors (2026): Price, Where to Buy, Top-Up and Fares
Short answer: the Antalyakart is Antalya's prepaid card for the AntRay tram and the city buses. The standard card costs ≈€1.80 (₺100) with no credit on it, and each ride then costs ≈€0.75 (₺42), against ≈€0.90 (₺50) with a contactless bank card. You can buy one at the machines by the tram stop at Antalya Airport (there are none at Terminal 2), and one card can pay for your whole group. For a short stay a bank card is usually cheaper: the Antalyakart only pays for itself from 13 rides, or sooner if you use its free transfers.
Your driver waits just outside the arrivals exit · flight tracking · no extra charge for traffic or flight delays · up to 6 passengers · free cancellation up to 24 h

Antalya's trams and city buses don't take cash: you tap a card at the tram turnstile or on the bus reader, either an Antalyakart or your own contactless bank card. Here is what each option costs in 2026, where to buy and top up the card when you land at Antalya Airport (AYT), how the free transfer works, and when you are better off without a card at all.
Antalyakart or bank card: fares at a glance
| Ticket | What you pay | Free transfer | One card for a group |

| Contactless bank card | ≈€0.90 (₺50) a ride, no card to buy | No | Yes |
| Kullan-At (disposable card) | ≈€2 (₺112) for 2 rides or ≈€4.50 (₺250) for 5 rides | No | Yes |
| Mobile Antalyakart (Android only) | ≈€0.35 (₺19) once, then ≈€0.75 (₺42) a ride | Yes | Not stated |
Fares per person and ride on the AntRay tram and city buses, October 2026. The Kullan-At price includes a ≈€0.35 (₺20) card fee; each ride on it is worth ≈€0.85 (₺46). Travellers report that the airport bus lines (400, 600, 600G and 800) charge more than the standard fare, so check the amount on the reader. Antalya's council is reviewing public-transport fares in October 2026, so these amounts may change.

Antalyakart, Kullan-At or your phone? The card types
| Card | Who it's for | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Antalyakart Tam Kart (standard) | Visitors | ≈€1.80 (₺100), sold at machines with no ID; not registered to anyone, so one card can pay for several people; you top it up and get free transfers |
| Kullan-At (disposable) | A few rides, or no contactless card | Sold only as 2 or 5 rides, at machines and dealers; no top-ups, transfers or discounts |
| Mobile Antalyakart (NFC) | Android phones with NFC | Bought in the Antalyakart app and topped up by credit card; not available on iPhone |
| Contactless bank or credit card | Short stays | ≈€0.90 (₺50) a ride, accepted on all trams and buses; one card can pay for several people; no transfers |
| Personalised and discounted cards | Residents and students | Need an application with Turkish documents; a personalised card can be blocked if you lose it |
Free travel for people over 65 is a right of Turkish citizens only, so visiting seniors pay the full fare. Children under 7 travel free on the tram with a parent; no age rule is published for the buses.
Buying an Antalyakart at Antalya Airport
There is no Antalyakart card centre at the airport, but there are four ticket machines that sell cards and top them up. All of them are at the Terminal 1 and Domestic terminal end, by the "Havalimanı" tram stop:
- next to the tram stop;
- inside the tram stop;
- at the tram stop's upper entrance;
- opposite the bus stop at the Domestic terminal.
None is listed at Terminal 2. The card comes with no credit, so load some at the same machine straight away: at least one ride per person at ≈€0.75 (₺42) each, which makes ≈€1.50 (₺84) for two people going into town. Antalyakart doesn't publish which notes or cards the machines accept, or whether they have an English menu, so carry some lira in cash as well as a bank card.
Landing at Terminal 2
In 2026 the airport lists almost every international airline at Terminal 2, but the terminal is set per flight, so check your boarding pass. Terminal 2 is about 2.5 km from the tram stop and has no card machine. You have two options:
- Ring shuttle, then tram: the airport's free ring shuttle runs between Terminal 2 and Terminal 1, from the departures front of each terminal (no hours or frequency are published). From Terminal 1 it's a short walk to the tram stop and its machines.
- City bus from Terminal 2: buses 400, 600 and 800 start at Terminal 2 itself. With no machine there, pay by tapping a contactless bank card on the reader.
From the airport into town, step by step
- Go to the Havalimanı tram stop at the Terminal 1 and Domestic end; from Terminal 2, take the ring shuttle first.
- Buy an Antalyakart at one of the machines and load at least one ride for each person. Rather not buy a card? A contactless bank card works at the turnstile too.
- Tap the card at the turnstile once for each person in your group.
- Every tram from the airport is line T1A towards Fatih. Get off at İsmetpaşa for Kaleiçi (about 31 minutes), Meydan (22 minutes) or the Otogar bus station (50 minutes).
- Keep the card for city buses and the trip back. Towards the airport, board only trams showing "Havalimanı".
Trams leave the airport from 06:31 to 00:05. For timetables, buses and night options, see Antalya Airport bus and tram.
Where to buy and top up in the city
Antalyakart lists 128 machines in the city, and 113 of them sell cards as well as topping them up. In the areas visitors use most, you'll find machines at:
- City centre: İsmetpaşa, Şarampol, Muratpaşa and MarkAntalya, Doğu Garajı and Meydan.
- Bus station: the Otogar tram stop and the district-bus gate.
- Konyaaltı side: Konyaaltı Kent Meydanı, Konyaaltı Caddesi (Barbaros), 5M Migros and Müze.
- Lara side: TerraCity, Güzeloba and Lara Turizm Yolu in Kundu.
There are no Antalyakart machines in Kemer, Belek, Side or Alanya, so if you're staying at a resort, buy and load your card in Antalya.
Dealers: authorised Antalyakart dealers (bayi) sell cards and top them up for cash, with no commission; the Antalyakart app shows the nearest ones. If a dealer asks for a fee, Antalyakart asks you to report it on 0242 606 07 07.
Card centres: Batıgar, next to the Otogar, and Doğu Garajı. Both open on weekdays 08:30–12:30 and 13:00–18:00 and on Saturdays 08:30–12:00.
How much to load
Each ride costs ≈€0.75 (₺42) per person. A day with a trip into town and back is two rides each, so a couple needs ≈€3 (₺168) for that day. Load a little at a time: Antalyakart publishes no way to get leftover credit back.
Online top-ups, the app and the mobile card
The official Antalyakart app is on Google Play, the App Store and Huawei AppGallery. It has a trip planner, nearby stops and dealers, and live bus positions.
- Online top-up: in the app or on antalyakart.com.tr, by credit card with 3D Secure. The credit isn't on the card straight away: it is added the first time you tap at a reader or turnstile. On a bus, press "online dolum" on the reader first, then tap.
- Balance: enter your card number in the app, or under "Kart İşlemleri" on the website, to see the balance, the last top-up, the last use and six months of history.
- Logging in: the app signs you in with a code sent by SMS to a Turkish-format phone number. Whether a foreign number works isn't stated.
Mobile Antalyakart (Android only)
On an Android phone with NFC, the phone itself can be your Antalyakart. It costs ≈€0.35 (₺19) once, bought in the app with a credit card, and pays the same ≈€0.75 (₺42) fare, with free transfers. You top it up by credit card only. It works offline, but open the app once a day. The fee isn't refunded if you cancel, and a new phone number means a new card. It isn't available on iPhone, because Apple restricts NFC; on an iPhone you can still use the app to plan trips and top up a plastic card. As the app login needs an SMS, check that it accepts your number before you count on the mobile card.
How the free transfer works
With an Antalyakart, plastic or mobile, your next boarding is free once, between 5 minutes and 1 hour after the first. Between two different tram lines the window is 5 minutes to 2 hours. There is no free transfer:
- with a contactless bank card or a Kullan-At card, which pay the full fare every time;
- on the same line, or between a line and its A variant;
- on buses with M number plates, on the "terminal" lines and on lines DC27, 500, 501, 514, 515 and 515A. Antalyakart doesn't say which lines count as terminal lines.
So a tram ride plus a change to most city buses within the hour costs one fare with the card and two with a bank card. One caution: when we checked, the buses on airport line 600 were running with M plates, so a change between the tram and bus 600 may be charged as a new ride. Check the amount the reader shows.
Antalyakart or contactless bank card: which is cheaper?
Every ride with the card saves you the difference between ≈€0.90 (₺50) and ≈€0.75 (₺42). The card itself costs ≈€1.80 (₺100), so without transfers it only comes out cheaper from 13 rides. Each free transfer saves a whole bank-card fare, so if you change lines often, the card pays off sooner.
Example: two people going from the airport to Kaleiçi and back make 4 rides. By bank card that's ≈€3.50 (₺200). With an Antalyakart it's ≈€3 (₺168) in fares plus ≈€1.80 (₺100) for the card, so the bank card wins. A family of four making four rides each has 16 rides between them; from 13 rides, the card comes out ahead.
Kullan-At: its price includes a card fee, so at current fares it is never cheaper than a bank card. Five rides cost ≈€4.50 (₺250), the same as five taps at ≈€0.90 (₺50), and two rides cost ≈€2 (₺112), more than two taps. It only makes sense if you don't have a contactless card.
- Use your bank card for a short stay with a handful of rides, such as the tram into town and back. Check whether your bank charges a fee for card payments abroad.
- Get an Antalyakart if you'll make 13 rides or more, change lines often, share one card as a group or stay longer.
- Get a Kullan-At only if you have no contactless card and need just a few rides.
One card for the whole group
The standard Antalyakart isn't personal, so one card can pay for several people: tap it once for each person and stay together at the turnstile. You pay the ≈€1.80 (₺100) card fee only once, so a group reaches the 13 rides that beat a bank card much sooner. Kullan-At cards and contactless bank cards can be tapped for several people too. With a bank card, take it away from the reader after each tap, or the reader shows "used card".
Children under 7 travel free on the tram with a parent. Visitors over 65 pay the full fare, because free travel at 65 is only for Turkish citizens.
Where you can use the Antalyakart
- AntRay trams: line T1 (T1A Fatih–Havalimanı for the airport, T1B to Expo, T1C to Aksu and T1D to Kışla) and line T3 (Varsak–Müze).
- City buses, including the airport buses 400, 600, 600G and 800 (travellers report a higher fare on these).
- The nostalgic tram route: the old nostalgic tram (T2) isn't in the current timetables; bus NT07 (Nostalji Tramvay Ambarı – Müze) runs instead.
- Upper Düden Waterfall: the entrance turnstiles have accepted the Antalyakart since August 2026.
- Otogar car park: since September 2026 you can pay at the car-park exits with the Antalyakart.
Check before you board:
- Havaş is a separate company with its own fare of ≈€4 (₺230) from the airport, and it doesn't say it accepts the Antalyakart, so don't count on it.
- District buses such as KA07 to Kemer, MAN47 to Manavgat and AA01 to Alanya from the Otogar, and BA22 from Meydan to Belek, appear in Antalyakart's timetables, but we couldn't confirm whether they take the Antalyakart, a bank card or cash. Ask at the platform or the driver before you get on.
Lost cards, leftover balance and refunds
A standard Antalyakart isn't registered to anyone, so it can't be blocked if you lose it, and its balance is gone. Personalised cards can be blocked through the call centre (0242 606 07 07) and their balance moved to a new card after 7 days, but they need Turkish documents.
Antalyakart doesn't publish a refund process for leftover credit or the card fee on a standard card, and the mobile card's fee isn't refunded if you cancel it. Load only what you need, use up the balance on your last rides (the tram back to the airport is a good one) or pass the card on to someone who's staying.
Arriving with luggage: the door-to-door option
For one or two people with light bags, the tram is by far the cheapest way into Antalya. But it means finding the right terminal and machine, and AntRay only allows luggage you can carry by hand, up to 25 kg. For families, groups and late arrivals, a private transfer priced per vehicle is the alternative: from €35 to Lara or Konyaaltı and from €55 to Kaleiçi and the city centre, for up to 6 passengers in a Mercedes Vito; the exact price for your date and pickup time is shown before you pay. Your driver meets you just outside the arrivals exit; once you land, they contact you on WhatsApp with the exact meeting point and a short video showing the way.

Frequently asked questions
How much does an Antalyakart cost in 2026?
The standard Antalyakart costs ≈€1.80 (₺100) with no credit on it. Each ride on the tram or a city bus then costs ≈€0.75 (₺42), and you load the credit at the same machine. Antalya's council is reviewing public-transport fares in October 2026, so check the amounts on the machine.
Where can I buy an Antalyakart at Antalya Airport?
From the ticket machines at the Havalimanı tram stop (next to it, inside it and at its upper entrance) and opposite the Domestic terminal bus stop. There are none at Terminal 2: take the free ring shuttle to Terminal 1 first, or pay by contactless bank card.
Is a contactless bank card cheaper than an Antalyakart?
For a short stay, usually yes. A bank-card tap costs ≈€0.90 (₺50) a ride with no card to buy, against ≈€0.75 (₺42) a ride plus ≈€1.80 (₺100) for the Antalyakart. Without transfers the card only pays for itself from 13 rides, and one bank card can pay for several people.
Can several people share one Antalyakart?
Yes. The standard card isn't personal, so tap it once for each person at the turnstile or reader. Kullan-At cards and contactless bank cards can be shared the same way.
Do children and seniors travel free on Antalya's trams?
Children under 7 travel free on the tram with a parent; no age rule is published for buses. Free travel for over-65s applies only to Turkish citizens, so visiting seniors pay the full fare.
How does the Antalyakart free transfer work?
With an Antalyakart you get one free change between 5 minutes and 1 hour after boarding, or up to 2 hours between two tram lines. Bank cards and Kullan-At cards get no transfer. Some lines are excluded, including buses with M number plates, the "terminal" lines and changes on the same line.
Can I use my phone as an Antalyakart?
Only on an Android phone with NFC. The mobile Antalyakart costs ≈€0.35 (₺19) in the Antalyakart app and is topped up by credit card. iPhones can't be used as a card, but the app still plans trips and tops up a plastic card.
Does the Antalyakart work on Havaş or the buses to Kemer and Alanya?
Havaş is a separate company with its own fare and doesn't say it accepts the Antalyakart. For the district buses from the Otogar, such as KA07 to Kemer, MAN47 to Manavgat and AA01 to Alanya, we couldn't confirm how you pay, so check at the platform before you board.
How do I check my Antalyakart balance or top up online?
Enter the card number in the Antalyakart app or on antalyakart.com.tr to see the balance and recent trips. Online top-ups by credit card are added the first time you tap the card at a reader or turnstile; on a bus, press "online dolum" on the reader first.
Can I get my money back on an Antalyakart when I leave?
Antalyakart doesn't publish a refund process for the standard card or its leftover balance, and a lost standard card can't be blocked. Load only what you need, use the balance on your trip back to the airport, or pass the card on.
Rather skip the ticket machines?
Your driver tracks your flight and meets you just outside the arrivals exit at Antalya Airport; once you land, they contact you on WhatsApp with the exact meeting point and a short video. A Mercedes Vito for up to 6 passengers costs from €35 to Lara or Konyaaltı and from €55 to Kaleiçi, and the exact price for your date and pickup time is shown before you pay.
