Getting to Antalya Airport (AYT): When to Leave, Terminals, Tram, Bus and Taxi
Short answer: Antalya Airport recommends arriving at least 2 hours before your flight. In 2026 almost all international flights leave from Terminal 2 and domestic flights from the Domestic terminal, but the terminal is set per flight, so check yours. In normal traffic the drive takes 15–30 minutes from Lara or Kaleiçi, 30–40 minutes from Belek or Konyaaltı, about an hour from Side or Kemer and up to 2 h 30 min from Alanya, so leave Lara or Kaleiçi about 4 hours before an international flight and Side or Kemer 4½–5 hours before. The cheapest ways are the AntRay tram from İsmetpaşa (05:51–23:32, 31 minutes, ≈€0.75 / ₺42) and the Havaş coach from Konyaaltı (from 01:30, ≈€4 / ₺220); from the resorts, a taxi or a private transfer (from €40 per vehicle from Belek) is far simpler than a district bus and the tram.
Your driver waits just outside the arrivals exit · flight tracking · no extra charge for traffic or flight delays · up to 6 passengers · free cancellation up to 24 h

Antalya Airport (AYT) is about 13–18 km from the city centre, close to the Lara beach hotels, while the resort coast runs 30–130 km either side of it and Kaş is about 200 km away. This guide works backwards from your flight: when to leave each area, which terminal to go to, what to expect at security and check-in, and every way to get there, from the tram, Havaş and the buses to a taxi, a private transfer or your own car.
When to leave for your flight
Antalya Airport recommends arriving at least 2 hours before your flight, and its departures guide suggests checking in 2–3 hours ahead. Airlines set their own rules: Pegasus asks you to be at the airport at least 2 hours before departure, and Turkish Airlines recommends 2 hours before a domestic flight and 3 hours before an international one. Both close counter check-in 60 minutes before international and 45 minutes before domestic departures. Holiday and charter airlines set their own deadlines, so check your booking.
| From | Drive in normal traffic | Leave this long before a domestic flight | … before an international flight |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lara / Kundu | 15–25 min | about 3 h | about 4 h |
| City centre / Kaleiçi | 20–30 min | about 3 h | about 4 h |
| Konyaaltı | 30–40 min | 3–3¼ h | 4–4¼ h |
| Belek / Kadriye | 30–40 min | 3–3¼ h | 4–4¼ h |
| Kemer (Tekirova a little longer) | 50–75 min | 3½–4 h | 4½–5 h |
| Side / Manavgat | 60–75 min | 3½–4 h | 4½–5 h |
| Alanya | 1 h 45 min – 2 h 30 min | 4¼–5 h | 5¼–6 h |
| Kaş | 3–3½ h | 5½–6 h | 6½–7 h |
The leave times are our suggestion, not an airline rule: 2 hours at the airport before a domestic flight and 3 hours before an international one (Turkish Airlines' advice; the airport says 2–3 hours), plus the drive and about 30 minutes' margin. Leave earlier in peak summer, when the coastal road and the terminals are at their busiest, and if you travel by public transport: the tram from İsmetpaşa takes 31 minutes plus the wait, and from the resorts the bus and tram take 1 h 30 min to 4 hours. If you leave very early, settle your hotel bill the evening before.

Which terminal? Terminal 2, Terminal 1 or Domestic
Antalya Airport has three passenger terminals. Coming in by road you pass International Terminal 1, the Domestic terminal (İç Hatlar) and the CIP terminal, then reach International Terminal 2, about 2.5 km further on, roughly 5 minutes by car. Terminal 1 and the Domestic terminal are joined, so you can walk between them.
In 2026 the airport's airline list puts 197 of its 199 airlines at Terminal 2, among them TUI fly, Jet2, easyJet, Condor, Eurowings, SunExpress, Pegasus, Turkish Airlines, AJet and Corendon, and on 15 October 2026 every international departure on the board left from Terminal 2. Domestic flights use the Domestic terminal. In summer 2025, though, some charter flights used Terminal 1, and the same airline appeared at both terminals on different flights. The terminal is set per flight, so check yours:
- Departure board: look up your flight number on the international or domestic departures page at antalya-airport.aero. It shows "T2" for Terminal 2 and "D" for the Domestic terminal.
- Your booking: check your boarding pass or airline app on the day.
- Tell your driver: "Dış Hatlar 2" for International Terminal 2, "Dış Hatlar 1" for Terminal 1 or "İç Hatlar" for the Domestic terminal.
At the wrong terminal? The airport runs a free ring shuttle between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Its stops are in front of the departures level of each terminal. The airport publishes no frequency or hours, so leave a margin, especially if you come by tram and fly from Terminal 2.
At the airport: security, check-in and passport control
- Two security checks: in Turkey you pass one at the terminal entrance and a second before passport control and the gates, so have your bags ready for the X-ray as soon as you arrive.
- Check-in: the check-in area is on the ground floor; find your desk on the flight monitors. Pegasus closes online check-in 60 minutes before departure, and its self-service kiosks at Antalya are for passengers without checked bags. Pegasus asks you to be at the gate 20 minutes before departure.
- Passport control: departing passengers show a valid passport or identity card at the passport desk.
- Tax refund: have your tax-free cheque stamped at the customs desk, with your purchases and passport, then go to Global Blue or a partner refund point.
- Bag wrapping: available 24 hours a day, for a fee, in the departure halls of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The price is not published.
- After security: the airport uses an open-gate layout, and it says no gate is more than 5 minutes from any shop or restaurant. Terminal 2 has three lounges (Comfort, Elite and Premium) that you can book ahead from the airport's departure board; Premium has its own entrance.
By tram from Kaleiçi, Meydan or the bus station
AntRay tram line T1A is the cheapest way to the airport from the city: ≈€0.75 (₺42) with an Antalyakart, ≈€0.90 (₺50) with a contactless bank card, or ≈€2 (₺112) for a two-ride Kullan-At card. Cash isn't accepted. Our Antalyakart guide explains which ticket suits you.
| Board at | Trams to the airport | Journey time |
|---|---|---|
| İsmetpaşa (for Kaleiçi) | 05:51–23:32 | 31 min |
| Meydan | 06:00–23:41 | 22 min |
| Otogar (bus station) | 05:32–23:13 | 50 min |
The first tram reaches the airport at 06:22 and the last at 00:03. Antalya's council is reviewing tram, bus and taxi fares in October 2026, so the lira fares on this page may change; Havaş and the airport car parks set their own prices.
- How often: every 12–18 minutes in the daytime, and about every 30 minutes after 21:00.
- Which tram: board only trams showing "Havalimanı". Other trams on the same tracks turn off towards Expo and Aksu after Yonca.
- Luggage: AntRay allows only luggage you can easily carry by hand, up to 25 kg, and bans items large enough to block other passengers. At rush hour the tram is crowded.
- Which terminal: the single "Havalimanı" stop is beside Terminal 1 and the Domestic terminal, so the tram is the most direct option for domestic flights. For Terminal 2, walk to the Terminal 1 departures front and take the free ring shuttle.

Havaş coach and city buses
From Konyaaltı, the bus station (Otogar) and Meydan, a coach or a city bus can be easier than the tram, and they are the only public transport to the airport before the first tram.
| Line | Board at | Towards the airport | Time to the airport |
|---|---|---|---|
| Havaş coach | Konyaaltı (Migros AVM) | 01:30, 03:30, 05:00, then hourly 06:00–21:00 | about 45 min |
| Bus 400 | Konyaaltı beach road and the Migros stop (from Sarısu) | From the Migros stop 06:30–00:30, about every 90 min | about 42 min from Migros to Terminal 2 |
| Bus 600 | Otogar, MarkAntalya | From the Otogar 05:30, 07:30, then every 90 min to 22:30 | 57 min from the Otogar to Terminal 2 |
| Night bus 600G | Otogar | 00:00, 02:00, 04:00 | about 41 min to Terminal 2 |
| Bus 800 | Meydan, next to the tram stop | 05:50, 07:30, then about every 50–60 min to 22:30 | about 63 min to Terminal 2 |
Havaş from Konyaaltı
Havaş leaves Konyaaltı (Migros shopping centre) at 01:30, 03:30 and 05:00, then every hour from 06:00 to 21:00, every day, and takes about 45 minutes, traffic permitting. The fare to the airport is ≈€4 (₺220). To board at a stop after Migros (Jandarma, the Otogar, Öğretmen Evi, Çallı, Sanayi Karakolu, the Kepez Belediyesi junction or the Hal junction), you must book by phone on 0555 985 11 45 at least 30 minutes ahead. Havaş's rules allow 30 kg of luggage per passenger. It doesn't publish where it stops at the airport or how to pay in Antalya, so tell the driver your terminal and carry both lira and a card.
City buses 400, 600, 600G and 800
- 400 from Konyaaltı: starts at Sarısu, runs along the Konyaaltı beach road (Atatürk Bulvarı), calls at the Migros stop about 30 minutes later and continues via Akdeniz University to Terminal 2.
- 600 from the bus station: leaves the Otogar every 90 minutes and runs via Adliye, 100. Yıl Bulvarı and Aspendos Bulvarı to Terminal 2; from the MarkAntalya stop it takes about 36 minutes.
- 600G at night: the same corridor, faster, from the Otogar at 00:00, 02:00 and 04:00.
- 800 from Meydan: via Fener, TerraCity, Düden Park and Güzeloba to Terminal 2. It doesn't run along the Lara–Kundu hotel road.
Pay with an Antalyakart or a contactless bank card; cash isn't accepted. Fares on the airport bus lines aren't published separately, and travellers report that they cost more than the standard fare, so check the amount the reader shows. All four lines end at Terminal 2: until 31 October 2026 the bus stops at the Domestic terminal and Terminal 1 are out of use because of road works. For a domestic flight, the tram is more direct.

The timetables are the same every day. Times after midnight belong to the night of the date before. Full details, including the trips from the airport, are in our Antalya Airport bus guide.
From the resorts by bus and tram
No public bus runs from the resorts straight to the airport. You take a district bus into Antalya, then the tram back out to the airport, which takes 1 h 30 min to 4 hours in all. It only works for daytime flights and light luggage.
| From | Route | Buses towards Antalya | To the airport in all | Fare |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Belek / Kadriye / Boğazkent | Bus BA22 to Meydan (about 70 min from Boğazkent), then the tram (22 min) | From Boğazkent 05:50–21:30, every 20–30 min | about 1 h 30 min – 2 h | BA22 fare not published, plus the tram |
| Kemer | Bus KA07 to the Otogar (64–87 min), then the tram (50 min) | From Kemer 06:51–00:01, every 10–20 min | about 2–3 h | ≈€3 (₺170) plus the tram, about €4 (₺210) in all |
| Side / Manavgat | Bus MAN47 from Manavgat to the Otogar (about 1 h 50 min), then the tram | 06:00–21:40, about every 20 min by day | 3 h or more | MAN47 fare not published, plus the tram |
| Alanya | Bus AA01 to the Otogar (about 2 h 25 min), then the tram | 06:30–17:30 only, every 30 min | 3 h 30 min or more | ≈€7.50 (₺410) plus the tram |
District buses from Kemer, Manavgat and Alanya arrive at the district platform at the Otogar, about 400 m from the Otogar tram stop; BA22 ends at Meydan, about 60 m from the tram stop. Totals include the walk and typical waits. From Side, you first need to get to Manavgat.
- The first buses get you to the airport at about 07:30 from Belek, 09:00–09:30 from Kemer, about 09:00 from Manavgat and about 10:00 from Alanya (our calculation from the timetables).
- The last AA01 leaves Alanya at 17:30, so for an evening or night flight from Alanya there is no public option.
- Lara and Kundu: there's no direct bus from the hotel road to the airport. Bus 800 runs only along Lara's western edge, so a taxi, about 15–25 minutes, is the practical choice.
- Kaş: the bus or coach to Antalya's bus station takes about 4 hours (≈€8.50 / ₺485), and you still need the tram after that, so allow most of a day and check departure times in Kaş. By road the trip takes about 3–3½ hours.
Early-morning flights
The first tram reaches the airport at 06:22, at Terminal 1 and the Domestic terminal. Before that, these are the only public options:
- Havaş from Konyaaltı (Migros) at 01:30, 03:30 and 05:00, about 45 minutes.
- Night bus 600G from the Otogar at 00:00, 02:00 and 04:00, to Terminal 2 in about 41 minutes.
- Bus 400 from the Konyaaltı Migros stop at 00:30 (Sarısu 00:00); the next leaves at 06:30.
- Bus 600 from the Otogar at 05:30, reaching Terminal 2 at about 06:27, and bus 800 from Meydan at 05:50.
From the Lara and Kundu hotels there is no bus at that hour, and from the resorts no public transport reaches the airport before about 07:30. For an early flight, ask your hotel to order a taxi the evening before, or pre-book a private transfer, which picks you up at the time you agree.
Taxi from the city or your resort
Taxis in Antalya run on the meter, and which tariff applies depends on where the taxi is licensed. City taxis (Lara, Kundu, the centre, Konyaaltı) use the central tariff of ≈€0.70 (₺40) to start plus ≈€0.90 (₺50) per km, with a minimum fare of ≈€3.50 (₺200). Taxis licensed in resort districts such as Kemer, Serik (Belek), Manavgat (Side), Alanya and Kaş use the higher resort tariff of ≈€1.10 (₺60) plus ≈€1.25 (₺70) per km, so the ride back to the airport costs more than the ride out. There is no night rate.
| From | Tariff | Taxi to the airport (meter estimate) | Private transfer (per vehicle) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lara | Central | ≈€13–14 (₺750–800) | from €35 |
| Kundu | Central | ≈€14–16 (₺800–900) | – |
| City centre / Kaleiçi | Central | ≈€15–16 (₺850–900) | from €55 |
| Konyaaltı | Central | ≈€20–22 (₺1,100–1,200) | from €35 |
| Belek (~33 km) | Resort | ≈€43 (₺2,370) | from €40 |
| Boğazkent (~41 km) | Resort | ≈€53 (₺2,930) | from €55 |
| Kemer (~60 km) | Resort | ≈€77 (₺4,260) | from €50 |
| Side (~66 km) | Resort | ≈€84 (₺4,680) | from €45 |
| Alanya (~127 km) | Resort | ≈€160 (₺8,950) | from €80 |
Start fee plus the per-km rate over the distance in free-flowing traffic. Practice varies on the resort side, so ask your hotel or the driver for an estimate first. The council is reviewing the taxi tariff in October 2026, so these estimates may change. Transfer prices are starting prices per vehicle (Mercedes Vito, up to 6 passengers); the exact price for your date and pickup time is shown before you pay.
- When a taxi is cheaper: from Lara, Kundu, Kaleiçi or Konyaaltı, a city taxi costs well under a transfer for up to four people. From Belek the two cost about the same; from Kemer, Side or Alanya a resort taxi on the meter usually costs more than a transfer.
- Space: a standard taxi takes up to 4 passengers and usually 2–3 suitcases, so a family of five or six needs two taxis.
- Ordering: ask your hotel to call one, and for an early flight book it the evening before.
- Paying: from 16 November 2026 taxis must take bank cards through a device linked to the meter. Until then, ask before you get in and carry Turkish lira.
More on fares in Antalya Airport taxi prices.
Private transfer from your hotel
Your driver picks you up at your hotel at the agreed time and drops you at the departures level of your terminal. You choose the pickup time when you book, so plan it with the leave times above; it suits early flights, families with luggage and the longer resort runs. Prices are per vehicle (Mercedes Vito, up to 6 passengers): from €35 from Lara or Konyaaltı, from €55 from Kaleiçi and the city centre, from €40 from Belek, from €45 from Side, from €50 from Kemer, from €80 from Alanya and from €160 from Kaş. The exact price for your date and pickup time is shown before you pay.
See the price to the airport from Lara, Konyaaltı, the city centre, Belek, Boğazkent, Side, Kemer, Beldibi, Tekirova, Alanya, Kaş or Kalkan, or book the return together with your arrival on our Antalya Airport Transfer page.
Driving: drop-off and parking
You can drop passengers on the departures level of every terminal, but the driver must stay with the car and stop for no more than 2 minutes. To wait, or to see someone off, use a car park: there are more than 5,500 spaces, about 3 minutes' walk from the terminal buildings.
| Car park | 1 hour | 3 hours | 1 day | 7 days |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Open car parks (Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Domestic) | ≈€2.50 (₺140) | ≈€3.50 (₺190) | ≈€9 (₺500) | ≈€63 (₺3,500) |
| Multi-storey, opposite the Domestic terminal | ≈€4 (₺220) | ≈€5 (₺270) | ≈€12.50 (₺690) | ≈€87 (₺4,830) |
From the airport's official fee calculator, VAT included. The Domestic open car park is free for the first 15 minutes; the international car parks have no free period.
- Paying: pay in cash or by card at the pay points; after paying you have 20 minutes to leave.
- Long stays: a monthly subscription must be set up within 3 hours of entering, at the Subscriber Centre on level P1 of the multi-storey car park.

Frequently asked questions
How early should I get to Antalya Airport?
Antalya Airport recommends arriving at least 2 hours before your flight and suggests checking in 2–3 hours ahead. Pegasus and Turkish Airlines close check-in 60 minutes before international and 45 minutes before domestic flights. You pass two security checks, so in summer allow about 3 hours before an international flight.
Which terminal does my flight leave from at Antalya Airport?
In 2026 almost all international flights use Terminal 2, and domestic flights the Domestic terminal. In summer 2025 some charter flights also used Terminal 1, and the terminal is set per flight, so check your flight on the airport's departure board or your boarding pass. If you end up at the wrong one, a free ring shuttle runs between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
How long does it take to get to Antalya Airport from Side, Kemer or Alanya?
In normal traffic, about 60–75 minutes from Side, 50–75 minutes from Kemer and 1 h 45 min to 2 h 30 min from Alanya. From Belek allow 30–40 minutes, and from Lara or Kaleiçi 15–30 minutes. In peak summer, leave earlier.
When should I leave my hotel for an international flight from Antalya?
We suggest about 4 hours before departure from Lara or Kaleiçi, 4–4¼ hours from Konyaaltı or Belek, 4½–5 hours from Kemer or Side and 5¼–6 hours from Alanya. That allows 3 hours at the airport, the drive and about 30 minutes' margin. For a domestic flight you can leave about an hour later.
Can I take the tram to Antalya Airport?
Yes. Tram T1A runs from İsmetpaşa, the stop for Kaleiçi, from 05:51 to 23:32 and takes 31 minutes, for ≈€0.75 (₺42) with an Antalyakart or ≈€0.90 (₺50) by contactless bank card. It stops by Terminal 1 and the Domestic terminal; for Terminal 2, take the free ring shuttle from the Terminal 1 departures front.
Is there a bus from Konyaaltı to Antalya Airport?
Yes. Havaş leaves Konyaaltı Migros at 01:30, 03:30 and 05:00, then hourly from 06:00 to 21:00, for ≈€4 (₺220), and takes about 45 minutes; to board at a later stop, book by phone 30 minutes ahead. City bus 400 also runs along the Konyaaltı beach road to Terminal 2, leaving the Migros stop about every 90 minutes from 06:30 to 00:30.
Is there a bus from Belek, Kemer, Side or Alanya to Antalya Airport?
Not directly. Take BA22 from Belek to Meydan, or KA07 from Kemer, MAN47 from Manavgat or AA01 from Alanya to Antalya's bus station, then the tram to the airport; allow 1 h 30 min to 4 hours in all. The first buses reach the airport at about 07:30 from Belek and 09:00–10:00 from Kemer, Manavgat or Alanya, and the last AA01 leaves Alanya at 17:30.
How much is a taxi from my resort to Antalya Airport?
Resort taxis use the higher resort tariff, so the ride back costs more than the ride out: roughly €43 (₺2,370) from Belek, ≈€77 (₺4,260) from Kemer, ≈€84 (₺4,680) from Side and ≈€160 (₺8,950) from Alanya on the meter. From Lara or Kaleiçi a city taxi costs about €13–16 (₺750–900). Ask your hotel or the driver for an estimate first.
