Sabiha Gökçen Airport Transfer Prices 2026

Sabiha Gökçen is Istanbul's Asian-side airport, near Pendik and Kurtköy. Its prices follow one question more than any other: is your hotel on the same side of the Bosphorus as the airport, or across the water? The full list comes first, then how to read it, what it includes and when a taxi, the Havabüs coach or the M4 metro is the better buy.

Prices are per vehicle and one way, and they are from-prices: the exact price for your date and pickup time is shown before you pay. Going back to Sabiha Gökçen from the same district costs the same as coming from it. Districts with a route page are linked.

Same Side or Across the Water: How the List Is Built

Asian Side: the Cheapest Rows

The top of the table is the airport's own side of the city. Pendik and Sultanbeyli start from €47, with Tuzla and Kartal just above. Ataşehir, Maltepe and Ümraniye start from €51, and Kadıköy and Üsküdar from €53 and €53. Kadıköy is about 36 km by road and 30 to 45 minutes away, with no bridge. Beykoz, further up the Bosphorus, is a step higher, and Şile on the Black Sea coast is the outlier of this group.

European Side: the Crossing Adds a Step

Taksim, Beyoğlu, Galataport, Beşiktaş and Şişli start from €57. Taksim is about 43 km away, not much further than Kadıköy, but the drive takes 60 to 90 minutes because it crosses the Bosphorus. Sultanahmet and Fatih start from €59, and Kağıthane from €60.

Far European Districts: the Longest Drives

The rows rise again for the districts beyond the old city. Bakırköy starts from €63 and Sarıyer from €80, and Esenyurt and Beylikdüzü on the western edge are the most expensive European rows. The last row, Istanbul Airport, starts from €78 for a drive of 80 to 100 km.

Which Vehicle Column to Read

The price is for the whole vehicle, so it divides by the number of people in it. Four people sharing a Vito to Taksim each pay a quarter of €57. Children and babies count as passengers. For more than 15 people, book several vehicles for the same flight or ask us about a 45-seat coach.

• Return trip: booked together, the return part gets a discount.

Cheaper Than a Transfer? Taxi, Havabüs and M4

For a single car, the taxi is usually cheaper here. A yellow taxi to Kadıköy costs about €32–41 (₺1,800–2,300) on the meter, and to Taksim about €39–50 (₺2,150–2,800) plus the bridge toll. On short hops the gap is wide: Pendik is ≈€14–17 (₺800–950) by taxi. On your own, the Havabüs coach costs ≈€5.50 (₺300) to Kadıköy and ≈€8.50 (₺485) to Taksim, and the M4 metro reaches Kadıköy for ≈€0.85 (₺46.20) with an Istanbulkart.

The transfer earns its price in other cases: three or more passengers, since a taxi usually takes four and has little boot space; children who need seats; a hotel on the European side, where the meter depends on the queue at the bridge; and a landing after midnight, when Havabüs and the M4 have stopped.
