Pickup at the hotel corner
Cars reach the hotel by coming down Kumbaracı Yokuşu from the Asmalı Mescit side to the corner with Lüleci Hendek Caddesi. Both streets are narrow and one-way, so your driver stops as close to the door as the street allows and helps with your luggage.

You're dropped at the departures level, near your airline's check-in area. A Mercedes Vito seats up to six and a Sprinter up to 15; for a VIP transfer, choose the black VIP Vito or VIP Sprinter. Without a car: the climb or the flat route
From Petra Galata there are two ways to reach the metro:
- Uphill to Şişhane: walk about 430 m up Kumbaracı Yokuşu, a climb of around 55 m, to the Tünel-side entrance of M2 Şişhane. Take the M2 towards Hacıosman four stops to Gayrettepe and change to the M11 for the airport.
- Flat to Tophane: walk about 190 m, gently downhill, to T1 Tophane. Take the tram two stops to Kabataş, the F1 funicular up to Taksim, the M2 three stops to Gayrettepe and the M11 to the airport.

Taxi and Havaist from Galata
A metered taxi costs about ₺2,100–2,400 to the airport (₺71.94 to start, ₺47.92 per km, no night rate), plus tolls and slow-traffic time. The card-terminal rule takes effect on 16 November 2026, so until then carry cash.
HVL-9 leaves from Taksim. From the hotel, take the T1 to Kabataş and the F1 up to Taksim, then walk to the coach stop on the Gezi Park side of the square. The fare is ₺470 with an Istanbulkart or the Havaist app and ₺590 by contactless bank card; cash isn't accepted. Our Havaist guide has the timetable.
