Across the plain to the main road
Once through town, the car follows the D-310 west over the farmland of the Küçük Menderes plain and joins the D-550 near Torbalı, which then runs north to Gaziemir and the airport. The D-550 is slower at rush hour, so a flight at 08:00 or 09:00 and one at 17:00 are best treated differently.
Which ADB terminal?
The airport has two adjacent buildings, International and Domestic. Check your airline app before the pickup and let the driver know. Drop-off is at the departures entrance of the building you name, which avoids a long trolley walk afterwards. Drivers speak English, and the pickup can be discussed by WhatsApp message.
The train from Tire
An alternative exists on the rails. TCDD regional trains on the Tire line to İzmir Basmane call at the Adnan Menderes Havalimanı station, but only a few run each day and not every departure may stop there, so confirm times on TCDD before planning around them. From the station a bridge leads to Domestic Departures; for the International Terminal follow the airport signs. If the timetable does not match your flight, or your bags are heavy, a private car is the reliable choice.

The drive takes about 65 minutes without traffic. Most airlines ask you to be at the airport about 3 hours before an international flight and 2 hours before a domestic one, so from Tire plan a pickup about 4½–5 hours before an international flight and 3½–4 hours before a domestic flight.
