Getting the car to your door
Alsancak's inner streets are narrow, lined with parked cars, and Kıbrıs Şehitleri Caddesi is mostly pedestrian. Which terminal, which entrance

Train to the airport instead?
İZBAN runs from Alsancak station to Adnan Menderes Havalimanı station without a change, and the airport station sits in front of the domestic terminal with a bridge to domestic departures and a signed walkway towards the international building. The network's first train leaves around 05:20, so it does not help for a flight before about eight in the morning. For night departures ESHOT 202 leaves Cumhuriyet Meydanı at 00:00, 02:00 and 04:00 according to the October 2026 timetable; check eshot.gov.tr before relying on it.
With heavy luggage or an early flight, the car is simpler. A taxi works as well, but the fare depends on the meter and the traffic.

- Settle your hotel bill and ask reception to hold the keys until the car arrives.
- Send a screenshot of the hotel entrance if it is hidden in a side lane.

Which road the driver takes
The driver chooses between Cumhuriyet Bulvarı or Şair Eşref, then Eşrefpaşa Caddesi, Yeşillik Caddesi and Akçay Caddesi, and the toll-free ring road (O-30), depending on what the traffic looks like on the day. You do not need to choose; the aim is the steadiest drive rather than the shortest line on the map. The drive takes about 30 minutes without traffic.
