About Torbalı
Torbalı is a fast-growing district south-east of İzmir, with roughly 208,000 residents counted in 2022. Torbalı has few hotels. Visitors often stay close to the airport in Gaziemir or in İzmir instead. Because most drop-offs are street addresses, send a map pin and the building name. The roads are ordinary town streets, so the car normally reaches the entrance, though the centre around the station can get congested at peak times.

The train is a real alternative here
Few destinations are as well placed for rail as Torbalı. Torbalı and Tepeköy are İZBAN stations on the southern line, and trains starting from the Adnan Menderes Havalimanı station run there without a change. If you land in the daytime with a light bag and a destination close to the station, this is a sensible, cheap choice. The picture changes late at night, with heavy luggage, or when the address is a distance from the platform; then a taxi or a private car is simpler.
