Kuşadası is an Aegean resort town and Türkiye's busiest cruise port, and most of its visitors fly into İzmir. You join the İzmir–Aydın Motorway southwards, leave it at the Belevi junction and drive the D-550 to Selçuk, then take the D-515 over the hills to the sea. That is a 65 to 85 minute ride. The last stretch from Selçuk to the coast is the bottleneck on summer weekends and on cruise days, when excursion coaches fill the road to and from Ephesus.

Where the car takes you in Kuşadası
The old quarter of Kaleiçi and the 17th-century Öküz Mehmet Paşa Caravanserai stand close to the bazaar and Ege Port, and Pigeon Island, with its castle, is joined to the mainland by a causeway. Ladies Beach lies about 3 km out, with a dense resort strip behind it. Larger all-inclusive resorts spread further south towards Yavansu and Long Beach and along the coast to the north, so name your hotel in the booking.
Tight streets and steep hotel drives
The seafront boulevard by the port and the lanes of Kaleiçi are narrow and busy, and some old-town streets are pedestrian, so the car may stop a short walk from a small hotel. Hotels on the slope above Ladies Beach are reached by steep roads, but vehicles manage them without trouble. Tell us the name of the property and the driver will confirm where to stop.
Flying in for a cruise
Passengers who join a ship at Ege Port often fly into İzmir a day before embarkation, spending a night in town. Land at Adnan Menderes, and your driver delivers you to the hotel in time for the evening promenade. Ferries to Samos also leave from the port. If you have a very early boarding, mention it in your booking.
Meeting your driver at ADB

Havaş, taxi or a private car to Kuşadası
Havaş runs an airport coach to Kuşadası via the motorway, stopping at Selçuk, Kuşadası Bus Terminal and the Davutlar junction. It takes about 90 minutes, with departures roughly every two hours, so check current times. No rail line reaches Kuşadası. A coach is fine for one traveller who is going to the bus terminal; from there you still need a taxi up to many hotels. 🔁 Going home: Kuşadası back to İzmir Airport

From Kuşadası the drive back takes about 70 minutes without traffic, so for an international flight choose a pickup about 4½–5¼ hours before departure, and about 3½–4¼ hours before a domestic flight. For a flight at 18:00, that means a pickup between about 12:45 and 13:30.
Traffic: İzmir traffic is heaviest on weekday mornings and evenings on the ring road and the roads into the airport; in summer the roads to and from Çeşme and Kuşadası are much slower at weekends and on public holidays, so leave earlier then.
