If you are travelling light and your start point is near a station, the rail option is good. The T3 Çiğli tram connects the university and the industrial zone with Çiğli station, and İZBAN trains run from there directly to Adnan Menderes Havalimanı station, calling at Ata Sanayi, Ulukent, Egekent and Egekent 2 along the line. A taxi is the usual alternative, and for a cross-city distance it is wise to agree how the fare is calculated before you set off.
