Güzelçamlı is the last village before the Dilek Peninsula national park, which makes it one of the longest rides south from İzmir Airport (ADB) in Kuşadası district. A private transfer covers it in one go. Your driver waits just outside the arrivals exit, and after you land the exact meeting point arrives on WhatsApp with a short video.
✅ What's Included
The village at the park gate
Güzelçamlı belongs to Kuşadası district but was its own municipality from 1992 until 2012. It stands at the entrance to the Dilek Peninsula–Büyük Menderes Delta National Park, whose coves, among them İçmeler and Aydınlık, look across the water to Samos. Beside the park entrance is Zeus Cave, a small cave with a clear spring-water pool, and the site of the Panionion, where the Ionian League met, lies within the village boundaries. Expect a village on the edge of a national park rather than a resort strip.
Reaching it from Gaziemir
The driver takes the İzmir–Aydın Motorway (O-31) to the Germencik junction, the D-525 towards Söke and then the D-515, finishing on the road through Davutlar. The other option runs through Selçuk and Kuşadası town. Count on around an hour and a half without traffic, which is the longest of the Kuşadası-district villages from the airport. In summer, traffic heading for the national park builds up on the last kilometres, so a mid-afternoon landing can mean a slow finish.
Where the car stops
Accommodation is small hotels, guesthouses and holiday-home estates in the village and along its beach; there are no hotels inside the park. Village streets near the beach are narrow, so the driver may drop you at the nearest wide point and let you walk the last stretch. If you are heading straight to the park, the controlled entrance gate is at the western end of Güzelçamlı, and drop-offs for the park or the cave are at the gate area.
Without a car of your own
No public transport comes directly from the airport. The Havaş coach to Kuşadası runs as far as the bus terminal or Davutlar Junction, and from there a local minibus or taxi must do the rest; minibus routes to Güzelçamlı were not something we could confirm. For two people with light bags that may be fine. For a family with suitcases the single private ride from the arrivals exit is calmer, and the price is per vehicle rather than per person.
Hire car or transfer?
Rent-a-car desks stand at the arrivals exits of both terminals, so driving yourself is an option, and on a long stay near the national park a car has its uses. Think about the first day, though. After a flight, an hour and a half through the Germencik exit, the Söke road and then village lanes can be tiring. One compromise is to take the private transfer on arrival and use local taxis or minibuses around the coast and park, then book the ride back to ADB for the end of the stay. Whatever you decide, check the park's current arrangements before planning a day around it.
- Planning to visit the park or Zeus Cave? Say so when you book and the driver can stop at the gate area on the way in.

🔁 Going home: Güzelçamlı back to İzmir Airport
You can book the way back in the same booking: choose a return trip on the booking form and enter the date and pickup time for your flight home. On the day, your driver waits at your hotel entrance or your address at that time and helps with your luggage.
From Güzelçamlı the drive back takes about 90 minutes without traffic, so for an international flight choose a pickup about 5–5¾ hours before departure, and about 4–4¾ hours before a domestic flight. For a flight at 18:00, that means a pickup between about 12:15 and 13:00.
Traffic: İzmir traffic is heaviest on weekday mornings and evenings on the ring road and the roads into the airport; in summer the roads to and from Çeşme and Kuşadası are much slower at weekends and on public holidays, so leave earlier then.
