How to Get from Dalaman Airport (DLM) to Fethiye, Ölüdeniz, Göcek and Marmaris
Short answer: the cheapest way is the Havaş or MUTTAŞ airport coach: ≈€4 (₺220) to Göcek, ≈€5.50 (₺300) to Fethiye bus station and ≈€7.50 (₺420) to Marmaris bus station, taking about 30, 60 and 90 minutes. They leave when domestic flights land, not to a timetable. For Ölüdeniz and Hisarönü, change in Fethiye to the dolmuş (every 7–8 minutes). Airport taxis charge fixed fares, for example ≈€54 (₺3,000) to Fethiye. A private transfer costs from €44 to Fethiye, from €53 to Ölüdeniz and from €77 to Marmaris per vehicle (Mercedes Vito, up to 6 passengers, fixed price).
Dalaman Airport (DLM) serves the whole south-western coast of Muğla province, but hardly anyone stays near it. Göcek is 24 km away, Fethiye 55 km (about 55 minutes by car), Ölüdeniz 66 km (about 1 hour 10 minutes) and Marmaris 96 km (about 1 hour 30 minutes). It is also extremely seasonal, with about eleven times as many passengers in August as in January, so in summer queues build quickly. Here is every way to Fethiye, Ölüdeniz, Göcek and Marmaris, with shorter notes on Dalyan, Sarıgerme, Hisarönü and İçmeler.

Euro amounts at €1 = ₺55.6.
Option 1: Havaş and MUTTAŞ airport coaches
Two operators run the airport coaches side by side, on the same routes and at the same fares: Havaş and MUTTAŞ, Muğla's municipal transport company. The Fethiye line runs via Göcek to Fethiye's intercity bus station (otogar); the Marmaris line runs via Ortaca, Köyceğiz and the Gökova junction to Marmaris bus station. Ortaca costs the same as Göcek, ≈€4 (₺220).
The key point: there's no fixed timetable from the airport. The coaches meet domestic flights and leave once those passengers are on board, so after an international flight you take the next coach that leaves for a domestic arrival, which can mean a wait. Havaş coaches leave from the car park in front of the terminals and MUTTAŞ meets passengers at the domestic terminal; the exact bay isn't published, so ask airport staff.
Seats can't be reserved. Both operators take bank cards on board; cash isn't confirmed, so plan to pay by card. Havaş drivers will drop you at points along the main route if you tell them beforehand. In Göcek the coaches stop at petrol stations on the main road, not at the marina, so you may need a taxi for the last stretch.
Option 2: Ölüdeniz and Hisarönü by coach and dolmuş
There's no direct coach to Ölüdeniz or Hisarönü. Take the Fethiye coach to the end of the line and change to dolmuş 3-40, which runs via Hisarönü to Ölüdeniz. It stops at "Carrefoursa Otogar", right next to the bus station where the airport coaches arrive, and runs about every 7–8 minutes, every day, from 06:50 until around midnight. The fare to Ölüdeniz is about €2 (₺115), a little less to Hisarönü, and contactless bank cards are accepted. It's cheap and frequent, but the minibuses fill up and have little room for big suitcases.
Option 3: minibus to Dalaman town and local buses
Minibus 8-11 links the airport with Dalaman town, 7 km away. It leaves from the Departures floor, not from arrivals, seven times a day: 07:50, 08:50, 10:20, 12:20, 13:50, 15:20 and 17:20, with fares from ≈€0.75 (₺42). From Dalaman, MUTTAŞ buses run to Fethiye via Göcek about every 15 minutes in the daytime, to Marmaris every 30 minutes and to Ortaca, where you change for Dalyan. It mainly makes sense if you're staying in Dalaman itself or travelling light.
Option 4: taxi
Airport taxis are run by the Dalaman Airport Taxi Cooperative, from a rank to the left of the terminal exit, around the clock. For the main resorts it publishes fixed prices per car, paid on arrival: ≈€54 (₺3,000) to Fethiye, ≈€63 (₺3,500) to Hisarönü or Ölüdeniz and ≈€90 (₺5,000) to Marmaris (more in the table below). That's close to what Muğla's 2026 meter tariff gives: ≈€2.50 (₺150) to start, ≈€0.90 (₺50) per km, minimum fare ≈€4.50 (₺250). Agree the price and your exact address before you set off.
For short trips to Göcek, Dalyan and Sarıgerme, a taxi is usually the simplest and cheapest door-to-door option. On the longer runs, compare it with a pre-booked transfer, which at current prices often costs no more.
Option 5: private transfer
Your driver tracks your flight, meets you just outside the terminal exit (once you land, your driver contacts you on WhatsApp with the exact meeting point) and drives you straight to your hotel, villa or marina at a fixed price per vehicle agreed in advance. That helps most when you land on an international flight and no coach is waiting, when several charter flights arrive at once, or on the long runs to Ölüdeniz and Marmaris with children and luggage. A Mercedes Vito seats up to 6 passengers with luggage; prices per destination are in the table below. Compare all routes on our transfer prices page, or book on our Dalaman Airport Transfer page.

*Drive times without traffic. "Coach + dolmuş" means the airport coach to Fethiye or Marmaris bus station, then a local minibus.
- Fethiye: the coaches end at the bus station; dolmuş minibuses and taxis go on to the centre and Çalış beach.
- Ölüdeniz and Hisarönü: over the hills behind Fethiye; Hisarönü comes first, Ölüdeniz's beach and lagoon at the end of the line.
- Göcek: the closest resort and a base for gulet cruises and yacht charters.
- Dalyan: take the Marmaris coach as far as Ortaca and change to the local dolmuş, which runs about every 15 minutes, or take a taxi.
- Sarıgerme: local minibuses run from Ortaca and, in summer only, from Dalaman town, but most visitors take a taxi.
- Marmaris and İçmeler: the coach ends at Marmaris bus station, and a local dolmuş runs from there to İçmeler during the day.
- Kalkan and Kaş: about 2 hours and 2 hours 30 minutes by road, with no airport coach.
- Bodrum: Dalaman is the wrong airport: Bodrum is about 200 km and almost 3 hours away. Milas–Bodrum Airport (BJV) is less than 50 km from the town, so fly there instead.
Finding your way at Dalaman Airport
Dalaman has two separate terminals, one for domestic and one for international flights. You'll see them called T1 and T2, but the numbering is used inconsistently, so go by "domestic" (İç Hatlar) or "international" (Dış Hatlar) and check with your airline. Once you walk out of the terminal with your bags, the taxi rank is to the left, and the welcome desks of tour operators and transfer companies are in the car park just after the exit, where the Havaş coaches leave too. The minibus to Dalaman town goes from the Departures floor.
Timing matters here: Dalaman handled about 89,000 passengers in January 2026 and almost 987,000 in August. Roughly from April to October, charter flights land in waves, and passport control, the taxi rank and the coaches all get busy at once. In winter the airport is far quieter; the coaches run all year.
Back to the airport
Coaches to the airport run to fixed times that change from day to day: on 2 October 2026, Havaş and MUTTAŞ each had eight departures from Fethiye bus station, between the early hours and the evening. Check their websites the day before you fly. The airport recommends checking in 2 hours before domestic and 3 hours before international flights, and earlier in peak season. You can book the return together with your arrival on our Dalaman Airport Transfer page.
