Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport is south of the city, about 17 km from Konak and 20 km from Alsancak, yet most of our Izmir rows are not in the city at all. The list fans out in four directions: the city districts nearby, the Çeşme peninsula to the west, Selçuk, Kuşadası and Didim to the south, and Foça, Bergama and Ayvalık to the north, with Pamukkale and Bodrum as the longest drives.

Prices are per vehicle and one way, and each figure is a from-price. The exact price for your date and pickup time is shown before you pay. The trip from your hotel back to Izmir Airport costs the same as the trip from it. Each linked row opens its route page.

Four Directions, Four Price Bands

Within a row the price can depend on where exactly you stay: on the Çeşme peninsula, Ilıca, Dalyan and Çiftlikköy are separate drives, so enter your hotel's address and the price for it is shown when you search. If you are heading to Bodrum, also look at our Bodrum Airport prices.

Matching the Columns to Your Party

Six people sharing a Vito to Alaçatı each pay a sixth of €95. The same logic works the other way: a couple pays the full vehicle price too, so for two light travellers going into the city the train or a taxi is often better value. Windsurf and kite bags take real space, so mention them in the booking notes. For more than 15 people we send several vehicles or arrange a 45-seat coach on request.

What You Get for an Izmir Airport Fare

In Alaçatı the old-town lanes are narrow, so any car stops at the nearest practical point and you walk the last stretch.

What Can Raise or Lower the Price

Taxi, İZBAN, Havaş or a Private Car

Towards the city the taxi and the train are hard to beat. A taxi to Alsancak is about €19–24 (₺1,050–1,350) on the meter, lower than our price for one car. Alone and travelling light, the İZBAN train reaches Alsancak in 28 minutes for ≈€0.70 (₺40) with an İzmirim Kart, though it does not take bank cards and the card itself costs ≈€3.50 (₺200).

Towards the coast the sums change. The airport taxi office lists ≈€68 (₺3,800) to Kuşadası and ≈€97 (₺5,400) to Çeşme, about level with our Vito, and a taxi toll may be extra. The Havaş bus costs ≈€11 (₺600) to Çeşme and ≈€11 (₺600) to Kuşadası, but per person, so a family of four pays it four times. A standard taxi takes 4 passengers and usually 2 or 3 suitcases, so five or six people need two. For the longest runs, compare the airport list price of ≈€145 (₺8,200) to Didim with our price from €130. Our Izmir Airport taxi prices and taxi or private transfer guides have every route.

Payment, Changes and Cancellation

The payment page shows the options for your booking and the exact amount of each before you confirm: online by card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) on iyzico's secure page with 3D Secure, so we never see your card details; in cash to the driver in euro, US dollar, pound sterling or Turkish lira; or a booking guarantee online by card with the rest in cash.

Cancelling is free up to 24 hours before pickup. Between 6 and 24 hours before, the fee is 50% of the one-way price; under 6 hours there is no refund. Date and time changes are possible until 24 hours before pickup.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a transfer from Izmir Airport to Alsancak?

From €35 per vehicle, one way, in a Mercedes Vito for up to 6 passengers and 7 suitcases. The exact price for your date and pickup time is shown before you pay.

How much is a transfer from Izmir Airport to Çeşme or Alaçatı?

From €100 per vehicle to Çeşme and from €95 to Alaçatı, one way, for the whole car. The drive takes about an hour when the motorway is clear.

Is the price per person?

No, it is per vehicle. A Vito costs the same for one passenger or six, so the price per person falls as your group grows.

Do I pay motorway tolls on top?

Not with our transfer. The price you see before you pay is the price for the vehicle, so there is no toll to settle on the way. With a taxi, ask the driver whether tolls are included.

Is a taxi cheaper than a transfer from Izmir Airport?

Into the city, usually yes: about €19–24 (₺1,050–1,350) to Alsancak on the meter. To Kuşadası and Çeşme the airport list price and our price per vehicle are about level, so group size, luggage and the time you land decide.

Why are Pamukkale and Bodrum the highest rows?

They are the longest drives. Pamukkale is about 230 km from the airport, 2½ to 3 hours by road, and Bodrum is further south than Didim, which is itself about 142 km away.

Does the trip back to Izmir Airport cost the same?

Yes. The way back is priced the same as the way out, and if you book both together the return part gets a discount.

How do I pay?

Online by card, in cash to the driver in euro, US dollar, pound sterling or Turkish lira, or a booking guarantee by card with the rest in cash. The payment page shows the options and the exact amount of each before you confirm.
